Question about RF Radian XTSL seats resting on front seats

Hello all. First off I wanted to say that I sincerely appreciate that we have somewhere to go to to ask questions such as these.

My question:
We just got our Radian XTSL seats installed a few days ago in our 1996 Volvo 850 GLT Wagon. I pushed the front seats as far forward as they would go while installing the seats so I could get them as tight as possible. They are good and snug and I am not concerned about the install. My concern is with them touching the front driver and passenger seats. I have read the owner's manual and the only thing I found that could even be close is the following warning:

No objects, accessory equipment or stickers may be placed on, attached to or installed near the SIPS airbag system or in the are affected by the SIPS airbag deployment.

When I drive the front driver's seat is in a comfortable position. When my husband drives, not so much...

Any input?

B, almost 4 year old boy
J, 15 month old boy

Those are the side torso bags (http://new.volvocars.com/ownersdocs/2006/2006_S60/06s60_01b.htm). So not a concern when it comes to the carseats I'd imagine.

If that's the only reference to touching airbags I'd let the Radians gently touch, but not shove or brace. If you can slide your hand between the seat and the Radian you're good.
