Anyone want to do a homemade holiday toy swap?

Just thinking that maybe, with all of the homemade toy discussions in SCM, maybe we could set up something? We could each pick one toy to make, and then make enough for all participants. We'd have to figure out shipping, but it probably wouldn't be too bad. We could divide it into boys/girls, babies/older kids, or whatever, or maybe post what we are all making, and then everyone pick as many gifts as they would be making? I don't know, I have never gotten to participate in anything like this, but thought it might bee neat if we could pull it off. Post your ideas/thoughts. :)

If DH gets a job, I would love to make I Spy bean bags (never have before), my gosh, what am I getting myself into? I really don't have kids around to make them for. I really should not hit post.

So, what are some things everyone can make?

I have Judi for I Spy bags (If she is able)

I can make felt boards, knotty dolls for babies, toy cloth grocery bags, taggie blankies for babies, and probably more LOL try me :)

Depending on how many people we have in, I can do several different things - knotty babies, taggie blankets, kid sized doll slings, mini doll quilts, and lots more :D

I thought I had posted this hours ago, but can't find it so here goes.

Not a toy, but kid related.

I make crocheted hats. Depending on how many are in (I could probably only make a few before Christmas) and if people are even interested, I'm in.

I have a bunch of yarn already, so would prefer not to have to buy anymore. I double them up so they are pretty warm. I can do a pom pom (or maybe 2) on top or flat across.

ETA: The two pictured can be available. I made them a bit to small for the kiddos. Eli fit perfect in Mya's but his mom/dad wouldn't go for the pink. Eli was 11 months in the pic, but has a huge head and Mya was 3.5 years.

I've been making these today if anyone lets their girls play with Barbies ;)

And, dependent on how many people are involved I can do dolls/stuffed animals. These take me about three days though...
Baby, all soft bodied about 20" long

And a troll, completely designed by DD1.

I would love a knotty doll for DD2 but alas, my sister got the crafty gene. I could never make anything at home that anyone would want to buy. :p

So what can I do to get a knotty doll?

I am not crafty at all, but can anyone make a Waldorf Style Baby? My DD would love one that isn't falling apart. I really can't afford the ones on the internet, but maybe able swing a homemade one or trade something for it. :)

I am going to attempt felt food, we will see how that goes!

If any of you crafty folks would like to sell some of your work, I believe there are a few of us that would buy it. I know I would love to buy some of that felt food that I saw pics of recently.

I like the I spy bag! That is cute.

If anyone who isn't crafty wants anything I can make (felt boards, knotty dolls for babies, toy cloth grocery bags, taggie blankies for babies, tutus, etc.) PM me and we can try to work up a trade. i do not want to just offer for sale unless I get a chance to make them in advance b/c I tend to over commit.
