When was it first released? When did they change from 33 to 35 pounds RF? Did they start out with a 65 and 80, or just one?

They were released mid 2006, 65s only. The change to 35 didn't come until late 2007, early 2008, but they weren't MARKED in the labeling as 35 until September 2008.

My Radian is from 3/07, does that mean it only RF's to 33lbs??

I bought it back in '07 when it was brand new for my DD because I liked that it went to 80lbs and didn't know any better about FF only seats. So we are just now using it for RF'ing for the baby, how do I find out??

They came out in November 2005, actually. I had a 10/05 DOM one, and got it in November of that year and used it for the first time for a hanukah trip that December.

They only had the 65 at first. Then the 80. I don't remember the 33 to 35 pound change, but my 3/07 DOM was 33 and I don't know if that was retroactive.

Well crud, so more than likely mine is only 33lb rear facing limit.

Guess this means I need a new one ;)

My first radian was made in 3/08 and the manual said 35 lbs but the seat itself said 33. Russ said those that had a manual that said 35 could use them to 35.
