Booster for 8 year old

My youngest daughter is turning 8 next next month. She is 50 inches tall, 52 lbs. She currently rides in a Radian 3R with harness in my van(Sienna), a Britax Clicktight in booster mode in my husband's car(Honda Pilot), and a Graco Turbobooster in high back mode in grandparents car(Ford Fusion). She's almost outgrown the Radian by height and she's at the top height for the Turbobooster. Clicktight expires this year, planning on taking it too the Target drop off. What seat would you suggest I replace with for everyday use? She falls asleep in the car very easily and we're taking a 15 hour trip later this year. Otherwise I think I'd be ok with just a backless booster. Is it worth it to purchase a taller backless booster? Thanks!

At 8 and a frequent car sleeper, especially with a long trip, I would want a high back booster at least in the main vehicle.

Do you have a budget in mind?

High back booster for main vehicle was what I was thinking as well. Just want to make sure she'll get decent use out of before it's outgrown. Budget is somewhat flexible, but hoping for not over $150.

Can you get a torso measurement? Have her sit cross-legged against the wall, all the way back. Mark the top of the shoulder, and measure there to the floor. That will help narrow down what will be a lasting seat for her.

Ok, so you've likely got a few years before she outgrows the Turbobooster back. If you want taller than that, the Britax Skyline or Highpoint are good bets that are in your price range and go backless later.
