Last minute travel need

My youngest is 10.5yo, 57.5", and 84 pounds. We are flying in a couple of days and need to travel with only carry on luggage. I had been planning to bring along our Graco TurboBooster TakeAlong for her to use in the rental car. Now that we are using carryon luggage, I am not sure I can fit that booster and our stuff inside our carryon. I also noticed tonight that it lists a maximum height of 57". She is about 57.5" barefoot (and will be traveling in very flat sandals if that matters). She can 5 point test in my husband's cruze and rides in it seatless, but can't 5 point in our Honda Odyssey. I am guessing she will need a bit of a booster in our rental mini-van. I can't get any new seat delivered from Amazon in time.

Is there a good booster for a kid this big that I can find at a big box store tomorrow and will fit into her backpack? Does the booster we have count as an extra carryon if we all have a carryon plus a personal item? Would you feel comfortable using the TurboBooster with her being about 1/2' over the height limit?

Edit to add - a different search on amazon and it looks like I could get a mifold or a bubble bum in time. We had bubble bum years ago and my kids didn't like them. They felt too wobbly. But she is much bigger now. Maybe that is our best option?

She is probably too big for the BubbleBum to be comfortable and I wouldn't count on fitting a Mifold.

Most airlines won't count the booster as an extra carryon. You'll need to check their website for more info.

I personally would not worry about my child in a booster over the height limit if it was needed- those are based on guesses of what size child will fit, is all. I would wonder at that size if belt fit is still good in it, but if it is, I wouldn't worry too much.

If you find you can't bring a booster along, it seems likely she will fit in at least one seating position. Kids take FOREVER to 5 step in that Odyssey captains chair. She'll likely fit 3rd row center in almost any minivan if nowhere else.
