Hehehe, thanks. I actually managed to get my trip to BRU to be an "approved" work outing! (Broken leg, been stuck at headquarters, but we have an employee raising her severely special needs grandson, and we looking into getting this seat for her- our head CPST was teaching today, so I got to go do an official evaluation- at least it sounds official!). Tried to crop out the lovely boot as much as possible- at least I can walk on it now!

Is the buckle/release the same as the one Graco uses on the SS1? If so, I LOVE that release, so easy to use!
Yes. And the harness fabric is the same too.

Wow, gobs of leg room!

It's completely a RF SS2. Which is fab. Because I love the SS2. The top of it looks very butterlyish to me.

And both my kids can fit in it. So I could theoretically have matching seats again. Which I must have.

I'm really shocked at the amount of leg room. Me likey! Time to go to BRU methinks. Next Saturday.

When I installed it FF in my van it reminded me alot of the SS2. It seemed pretty reclined.

Whoah, that thing looks HUGE! I'm gonna assume 3 across is a pipe dream with that thing.

Well, I did have it FF in between 2 Vivos in the 3rd row of my Sienna.

BTW- I added 2 posts to Mommy-medic's review with more info. I do plan to add some more pics to them tonight.

This might have already been addressed, but what is the height of the bottom slots with the infant insert? Also, can the seat recline FF?

Gosh the more and more I see pics and other little ones in it.... I WANT one, my DD is the same size and age that your DD is. I would love to see one at my BRU and play around with both girls. Maybe I could sell my MA and get 2 of them for Dh's car.. hmmm, why oh why do I have such a need for a new and better seat.?. There is always going to be something bigger and better out there. I could sell some single strollers that aren't getting any love too. I just might do so.. I WANT ONE.. I really like this pattern it is very soft looking and neutral, it would match both vehicle interiors.

I got 8 inches with padding, with me pressing down kind of hard. But with me pressing down, the padding slots measured 7 inches (yet seat and cover were still 8).

It installs with a natural recline FF. At least in my van it did. To get the feet to be flat on the seat, it was pretty reclined. But I imagine that can be done with the MA too (I've seen the MA installed properly FF but very reclined).

Top slots? I can't remember.. hoping someone knows off the top of their head

16.5-16 inches. Depending on when I measure

All the info you could ever want (well, almost) is in the articles and reviews section. Mommy-Medic started a nice review and I added lots of info too (including all kinds of measurements)

Well, that settles that. I have 24,000 things to do tomorrow, but it looks like first thing DS and I will be heading out to BRU to check it out (so it better be there, dang it!). DD will be in school though... I'd love to see if she'd still fit.

hmmm... If I like it, maybe get this now and wait for a nicer-covered True Fit ARB?
