Question Nautilus harness adjustment?

I've not had the pleasure of playing with the Nautilus in person, but have been stalking it online for a while, preparing to recommend it to someone in need of a new seat.

So my question is:
Can you adjust the harness height without uninstalling the seat?

The seat will likely be shared among a couple kids and while their height difference is considerable, the adult's installing ability is not. I'd prefer she didn't have to take it out often, if at all.

Boy, I don't know about the new AO.... old biases die hard. The tallest of the kid who would be using it is a beanpole. Just hitting 40 lbs now at five and all of that weight is in his height. The smallest using it is just the opposite, short and shall we say, *sweet*! How high are the top harness slots on the AO?

As a new harnessed seat, it's really nice though I know what you mean about old grudges

The new one harnesses to 50 pounds, has 17.5" top harness position and the top position IS usable in harness mode unlike the old one.

I don't recommend it often (especially with the Nautilus out now), but the SafeGaurd Child Seat might be a good option. Installation is a breeze, and the harness height can be adjusted while installed. The top slots are also slightly higher than the Nauti's.

I think it's on sale somewhere right now for $199 or so (but that might be over now).

The seat MUST have a top tether to use it. Also, LATCH is preferable as the seatbelt install can have a serious learning curve in some cars. The top harness height is about the same as the AOE.

Remember this seat has no shell, so it's not my first choice for a primary seat. I'd really prefer a kid to be in the AOE, honestly.

Thanks! I think I will recommend the Go Hybrid for Grandma's car, as she is the one who occasionally transports all three of the differently-sized kids and does not want to re-install the seat for harness height adjustment. She has both lower anchors and a top tether + headrest where the seat will need to be installed. For the mom's car (primary), I think I will recommend the Nautilus as the tallest boy is the only one who will be riding in it. Anyone see any issues with that plan?

We LOVE our Go...I'm not too wrapped up in 'sides' being overly protective in a harnessed seat (boosters? Gimme all the structure you can put in that thing!), and the way this seat is so back and low has got to be excellent for keeping head excursion low. It's easy to climb into, easy to buckle, easy to adjust the shoulder once you get the hang of it, and the lapstrap adjustment is kind of weird but not impossible to learn (it's like having LATCH straps on the legs, lol).
