Anything safe under carseats?

Our Odyssey is a complete lemon. Something is up again, and we need to borrow a vehicle as we leave for Disney in a few days. My mom said we could borrow her Ford Edge, but it's brand new and has leather seats. She told me I needed to put something under them...

I'm scared I'm gonna mess the leather seats up {they'll be installed for a week, unless I uninstall them between Su-Sa}. The girls in in Blvd and FRontier. Suggestions??

I believe on that review that car seat blog did, they found the Britax one didn't interfere. And am I making something up when I say that Britax crash tested those mats with their seats?

I thought the britax one was ok, but does it even work with the frontier?? That's the one that messes seats up so badly.. ime anyway

A thin towel is allowable but not recomended, honestly most seats do not ruin the leather in a car -I can't speak for EVERY car seat but I have leather seats and I have car seats installed, it has made a little bit of a dent in the leather from the pressure but if you uninstall the seats the night before you give it back to her the dents should come back up. Especially after only a week of use.

We have had awful dents from the frontiers latches, which is my main concern. I believe her is any food or drinks, which she already asked we didn't have. I'm thinking if we do use her vehicle, I'll just use the BLVd and a booster without anything "extra". I'd prefer dd not ride that far in a booster {four hours}, but she can and would probably prefer to {idk why}. I might just uninstall hers once we get there and install it before we leave. We take buses during the week, so we won't really need it unless we go offsite for anything..

As much as you might not prefer to, can you just install the frontier with the seatbelt instead of latch?

I use the seatbelt. She is sixty lbs. It's where the latch connectors are stored up on the side instead of at the bottom like on the convertibles.
