new evenflo buckles

Is anyone with evenflo seats haveing issues with the new harness assemblys. I have a securekid 300 that I have been useing since February and its becomeing more and more difficult to buckle and unbuckle. Called evenflo and they are replaceing the harnesses and doing quality testing on mine.

The new buckle is the same as the buckles on the Graco's that people have been complaining about. They're quite different than what people are used to and I think that causes part of the problem.

I have no explanation as to why your's would be getting more difficult though. If you didn't have a problem with it in the beginning then I'm sure it's not just a matter of it being different than what you were used to with other seats.

Hopefully the change in harness fixes things for you.

I just bought the new red and black Maestro and it is very hard to buckle. I am returning it and getting a FR85 maybe. It is really hard to make it click and I end up pinching the child in the process. I can't stand it.

Maybe I should call evenflo about mine too.

Mine was hard when I got it but I thought it was because of being new but I have only had it 3 months and it got worse.

My mr got more difficult as time went on. It was sticky to start with but it got to where I couldn't get it unbuckled at all. I have no problems with the maestro though.
