What would you get?

DS is 2.5 and 29#. I need to replace his Radian in a few months.

Would you buy a convertible so he could stay RF or get a combo seat and turn him FF. He'd be 2 3/4 years by then.

There is a Graco Milestone that goes RF/FF/and booster but it is $300. If I'm going to spend $300 then I'd rather get a Britax Blvd or Recaro.

I just read a long review on the Graco Milestone. And looked it up, I thought it was $300, it's about $229. It might be a great choice for ds.

If you like the Milestone, take a look at the MySize/Size4Me/Contender. It's a similar seat, just no booster function built in.

I'm looking at that one too. I love Britax seats, even though I've only actually had one, a Blvd. I want SIP.
I wouldn't get a Britax for an already 2.5 year old. I practically have to fold my 2.5 yo into his Advocate and he's a short kid. The new clicktights aren't much better. It's a shame because they're such nice seats.

My 95% daughter RFd until past 3 in a G4 Boulevard when i turned her for convenience and actually still fits in it FF. She is in a Click tight FF now and she is 4, 43", 40 lbs... She has inches of harness height left and plenty of room in the seat.

When she was RF, she just threw her legs around.

If you can swing it, I would totally get a Click tight. I love it. Beautiful seat, easy to use, will last nearly any kid until booster age.
