Question what convertible carseat is best for our 2010 routan?

My husband and I recently found out we are expecting again and now need to find a convertible carseat for our 14 month old. It needs to be rear facing in the captain chair behind the front seats. My husband is tall, so looking for something more compact that will not hit that front seat if he is driving.

Congratulations! How big is your 14 month old? What seat is your baby currently using and how much growing room does the baby have in the seat? Knowing more about your baby's current size will help us figure out which seats might work better now and over the next couple of years.
