Question Tether confusion

I have an 07 odyssey and the 3rd row tether anchors for the two outboards seats are on the back of the seat. The middle seat TT is on the back of the van, near where the hatch would close/latch.

We have 2 FR85s in the 3rd row third row outboard, so they are tethered to the same seat. I thought I read that this is no longer allowed. Is this correct? If so, where do I tether them? To the middle tether anchor?

You mean you have the passenger side restraint tethered to the passenger side anchor, and the driver's side seat tethered to the driver's-side anchor? If so, that's absolutely correct and not a problem at all. You might have seen mention of not tethering to the same seat when using a rear-facing tether. For forward-facing, though, you just use the designated anchor points. Hopefully that's what you were asking and I didn't misunderstand

Thanks for the clarification! That is exactly how I have it. I guess the reference I saw was talking about RF.

Or you might have seen something about tethers in some pickup trucks. Some of those, you put the tether strap through a loop behind the seat and then connect it to a neighboring anchor. But again, not something you need to worry about. Yours sounds fine!
