Sitting cross-legged in booster?

Is there any concern with sitting cross-legged in a booster seat?

As long as it doesn't affect the belt fit, I'm ok with it

I should clarify I'm talking about sitting criss-cross-applesauce (Indian Style).

I try to discourage my ds from sitting like this because, in his seat, it does change the fit of the belt.

I would check that the childs legs can comfortably bend at the edge of the booster..if not, give them something (foam cooler maybe?) to put their feet on.
My ds' legs bend at the edge of the booster ..but the vehicle seat extends farther than the edge of the booster. Therefore he tries to sit cross legged. Giving him something to put his feet on stopped this for the most part.

I did not allow DD (now out of a booster) to sit criss cross in her booster seat as it changed the belt fit drastically. If she sat that way, her bottom was slid forward and the lap belt was up much too high.
