Question sienna 2001 rear facing carseat install

We are trying to find the best car seat for my van. I bought an Alpha elite 65 as I loved the one we had with my older daughter but I can not get it installed at the proper angle without it moving up the driver seat. My 5 month old has a very long torso (she only has like 2 inches left of her chicco) and wide shoulders (she touches side to side) even though shes only 14lbs. Does anyone know what seat would work better in this van (the seats are very slopped and plush) while still keeping her rear facing longer or if you can take the base off of the Alpha elite like you could with the older versions.

*the passenger side 2nd row has no latch and the rear seats seem even more plush and hard to tighten down on as well as I am not sure how I would get her in and out of the van.

I do not think you are allowed to take the base off of the newer models.

What is your budget?

There are lots of options like the Graco Headwise70, Size4Me 70, Evenflo Triumph Advance, TrueFit.....

Just depends on your budget and what features you're looking for (cupholder, base/no base...)
