We are looking for a secondary convertible carseat for my daughter. We currently own a next fit and it is used in a 07 Honda pilot but I want a seat for my husbands 12 Nissan sentra.
She is:
10 months
19 lbs
27"

We are looking for an inexpensive seat

I would look at the Evenflo Sureride. It is inexpensive and will last a LONG time rear-facing. :D It is also relatively easy to install in most vehicles.

Thank you! I'll look into it. I forgot to mention that I'd like one that is fairly easy to install. I love that about the next fit.

The Sureride is a nice option! We've been using that for our program seats with Safe Kids. It is usually an easy install but not as easy as the Nextfit!

What do you consider inexpensive?

At the low end the Cosco Apt or Guide 65 are decent options at $50 and $80 or so respectively. The Sureride comes in around $100 and will last longer than the two previous seats. It has a good flip out stand for rear-facing and is less likely to need a tightly rolled towel or pool noodle to install. Another option would be the Graco Headwise/MySize/Size4Me which can often be found around $150 on sale. It is one of the longest lasting seats on the market right now and should be an easier install.

I was going to say around $100 but I'm willin to do $150. I just have to discuss it with my husband.
