Question Seat Suggestions - Jeep Compass

We are expecting #3 in July and I am in need of an infant or (probably preferably) a convertible seat that will fit our 2008 Jeep Compass. We have 2 DD's, 11 (using seat belt) and 5 (in a HBB currently as she is tall and weight ~ 60 lbs, the booster fits her well.) We are in Canada. We don't go all together in the Jeep often, but we need to be able to if we want.

We also use my mom's Grand Caravan and my father's Dodge Dakota extended cab quite a bit, so a seat that would fit those as well and is easy to move around would be great, especially the Dakota because I use that most of the winter while my parents are in FL. We are very budget minded but a good fit and safety is most important. I want to ERF the baby as long as I can get away with. Sadly, getting a different vehicle right now isn't an option.

Sorry this post is kind of all over the place, my head has been very scattered lately. :D

I would maybe look into the graco safeseat(I know they changed it a bit I heard they have on that RF to 30lbs&35lbs)or try out the MR though it is a big seat it has a high foot print so if you put it outboard in the middle it may work ok. Otherwise I would go for the infant seat and than maybe look into the costco scenera? My sister has a jeep compass but I really haven't played around with fitting seats in there to much. I know we fit the graco safeseat and than two others before but that was a few years ago so can't remember what they were.

I've heard its fine and I think the MR is supposed to fit newborns well(maybe a tech can comment). I would never do it but I am not a baby wearer and run a dayhome so I used the infant seat alot for probably about the first year and bought a stroller it attached too. My daughter was also a horrible sleeper so I loved the fact that I could just carry the seat in and she would stay asleep. If you aren't going to use the infant seat than I say just skip it:)
