Question Rear facing infant car seat in moving truck

Hi. We are moving from Florida to NY we would like to know if it is safe/legal to place an infant in a rear facing infant car seat in the truck. There will be 2 adults with the baby. It is a 3 seat.

I would call the rental company and ask them to look at a copy of the owners manual to be sure. Some passenger trucks prohibit RF seats in the center because of the driver airbag- I suspect a bigger truck may have the same issue.
