Radian RXT vs Recaro Prosport (I know...you're thinking AGAIN?)

Hi, all - I haven't been here in what seems like ages. You all were amazing when I was trying to figure out what to buy for our infant twins four years ago. I'm hoping you can do the same with my new questions!

I've been reading tons of posts about the car seats I'm interested in and I'm just getting confused now.

We have had the twinadoes in the original TrueFit convertibles and they have been great for us. I am planning on using them until they reach the height max of 50" tall.

Currently the twinadoes are just a hair short of 42", 38# & 42# each and almost 4.5 yo.

We have a Radian 65SL but need a 3rd car seat so that I'm not going back and forth moving seats from my car to DH's. We have older vehicles ('93 BMW sedan & '00 Dodge Caravan) so no latch but I've been able to get rock solid installs in both vehicle with both car seats.

I am looking at the Radian RXT and the Recaro Prosport. SIP is pretty important to me because we drive older vehicles (hoping for a change on that in the coming year!). And I like that both are convertible to boosters.

Radian up to 57" tall and the Recaro up to 59" tall. I'm pretty confident that neither of my kids will hit the weight limit before the height limit but as they've been in the 85%ile in height since they were a few months old, I'm leaning towards the extra 2" of the Recaro. However, I've read some comments about that 59" max being overly generous. True? Harness slots on the Prosport an issue as well?

Obviously, I don't need the rear-facing capability of the Radian.

In my case, is there really one that would be more advantageous over the other?

THANKS!

I have both. I've only had the prosport a few weeks but I can honestly say I'm not all that impressed. The picture is of sky, he is 4.5 years old, 43 inches tall with a 15.5 inch torso and 45lbs. He's on the top slots of the prosport with not very much room to grow.

Second picture is rf but that's my rxt. Model is boss man and he is 2.75 years old 39.5 inches tall with just shy of a 15 inch torso and is 40lbs. Boss man is rf in the picture however I can get a ff pic of him if needed.

Third picture is of monkey ff in the rxt. Monkey is almost 3.5 years old, 36lbs and has a 14 inch torso. We had terrible headslump issues with monkey in the rxt.

And for comparison the fourth and fifth picture of monkey in a graco nautilus and a Britax frontier 85.
