Question Peg Perego Viaggio High Back Booster120

I tried a forum search in a few different ways but could not find anything on this seat. It's possible that I am just super bad at forum searches.

I was just wondering: Has anyone tried it or seen it? Any feedback on it? How well do people/kids tend to like it compared with other dedicated boosters.

It seems like a nice option with all the bells and whistles but I can see from browsing around here that nice options don't necessarily mean functional or well fitting options which of course is most important.

TIA!

I think the reason I can't find anything in any of the forums OR by googling is that apparently not everyone calls it a viaggio. It is branded as just their High Back Booster120 or something. That thread is helpful (and not terribly promising for the seat!) but I'll keep looking for more reviews.

I am considering a PWSG but I have read on here that there have been MANY compatibility issues with it's size/height in the vehicle I drive (2005 Civic). I also can't find any locally to try it out- most places here only carry the Frontier which is another option.

Thanks again!

If you have a taller child the parkway sgl will get you a couple more inches than the Viaggio hbb120 will. I have the peg booster and so far I love it. My 8 yr old likes it too.

I emailed Peg Perego Canada regarding the Viaggio High Back Booster120 and they clarified a few questions I had. I thought I would share them here in case they will help anyone else.

  • The Maximum Height for a child is actually 57 inches not 55 inches as stated on some retail sites.
  • The Shoulder harness guides are 20 inches above the seat when the head rest is all the way up.
  • The seat back height is 29 inches with the head rest all the way up.
  • A head rest is required to help support the seat.
  • It can sit next to most airbags, but you should refer to the vehicles owner's manual.
  • The seat can be used without the back, but they recommend the back to help maintain the shoulder belt in the proper position, especially with younger children who may pull it off their shoulder.
  • The seat weights 5.6 kg (12.3459 pounds according to google)

They responded quickly and were very nice about it. Hope this helps someone!
