Bird Brain Recalls Pourable Gel Fuel Due to Burn and Flash Fire Hazards. Sold at: Sears, K-Mart, Target and other major retailers; Amazon.com, Target.com, Buy.com and various online specialty, home and garden, pet and gift shops and independent retailers from October 2008 through August 2011. Individual units were sold for between $8 and $18. Multi-packs were sold for between for between $18 and $136.

Kraft Foods Global, Inc. is voluntarily recalling three varieties of Velveeta Shells & Cheese Single Serve Microwaveable Cups with limited “best when used by” dates as a precaution due to the possible presence of small, thin wire bristle pieces. Approximately 137,000 cases of the affected products were shipped to customers across the United States.

Thorntons, Inc. is recalling its 6 oz Garden Salads and 5.6 oz Chef Salads because because the grape tomatoes used in these products may have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled salads were manufactured and distributed by Greencore U.S.A. to select stores in Chicago, Ill, Cincinnati, OH, Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN, Evansville, IN, Lexington, KY and Nashville, TN.

Manning Beef, LLC, a Pico Rivera, Calif. establishment, is voluntarily recalling approximately 80,000 pounds of beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. These beef products were produced on Sept. 23 and were shipped to retail establishments and food service centers in Ariz. and Calif. and to another federally regulated establishment in Neb.

Thumb Oilseed Producer’s Cooperative of Ubly, Michigan is recalling 2623, 40 lb. bags and 360, 1500 lb. totes of soybean flour; in addition to 924, .08 ton loads of bulk soy meal because they may be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled soybean flour and meal was distributed to a limited group of wholesale customers located in Illinois, Vermont, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, New Hampshire and Canada. The shipments occurred in November 2010 thru September 2011.

Fruit Fresh Up, Inc. of Depew, New York is recalling approximately 4,800 individual packages of FRESH CUT CANTALOUPE AND CUT MIXED FRUIT CONTAINING CANTALOUPE because they have the potential to be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes. The recalled FRESH CUT CANTALOUPE AND CUT MIXED FRUIT CONTAINING CANTALOUPE was distributed in Buffalo, New York and surrounding areas in retail stores and through catering orders.

Whole Milk With An Expiration Date Of 10/22/11 From Farmers All Natural Creamery Voluntarily Recalled Due To Possible Health Concerns. The results tested positive for residual phosphatase indicating that the milk may not have been properly pasteurized and therefore could present a risk if consumed. Farmers All Natural Creamery believes 954 gallons of milk have been sold to four distributors; UNFI (Aurora, CO), UNFI (Lancaster, TX), Calma Optimal (Franklin Park, IL), and Natural brands (Wood Dale, IL).

Superior Metabolic Technologies Inc of Marietta, Georgia is voluntarily recalling all lots of the testosterone booster Uprizing 2.0 because tests have shown the product appears to contain superdrol, a synthetic steroid, making it an unapproved new drug. Uprizing 2.0 was distributed through retail health food stores in Alabama, Arizona, California, Georgia, Mississippi, New Jersey, South Carolina, and Texas.
