MyRide

Curious, I can only find MyRides at Sears. Which is fine, but I would like a different color. I have till Feb. Does anyone know if BRU, Walmart, and Zellers have stopped carrying them for good, or will they be getting new seats in the new year?
Also, are Canadian seats going to have the new inserts? The ones at Sears had the older style inserts, and I'd prefer a new one.

All carseats in Canada have to pass new requirements as of 2012 so many places are selling off their 2010/2011 stock and not restocking until the new 2012s are ready. I'm sure BRU will carry the new My Rides but perhaps one of our BRU employees can answer for sure

I havent seen a myride in stock since about april. Everyone keeps saying check back next week but they get very limited stock in if anything. I even had a hard time finding an infant seat.

if you hate the cover you can order one through graco, or check the swap. I had an ugly cover but managed to find a nice new one

Most recent update from ABC Kids said that Graco was in the process of certifying the My Ride to the new standards and that they were close.

So given that information, I would say that the only way you're going to find a MR in the near future is from somewhere that has older stock. I'm pretty sure Graco isn't making them for the Canadian market right now, and likely hasn't been for a few months already.

I don't think any of the new style inserts showed up on Canadian seats, so you may be in a bit of a waiting game until the new compliant seats arrive - I wonder if Graco could give you an ETA if you called them?

I talked to Graco the other day and was told mid November, first part of December was their hope.

Off topic, but I noticed Graco moved the Nautilus into the convertible seat section on their site. The icon for boosters still shows a Nautilus, but no Nauti exists in that section. When I commented about this I was told that the Nauti converts to a booster. Gee, thanks.

Lol, talk about a hot mess on graco.net. Maybe someday it will present as a nicer site. I can't understand why no one at Graco thinks that Canada shouldn't have a similar (if not identical, just slightly smaller) site to that of gracobaby.com. Makes me chuckle.

LOL! I had the spiral pattern too, I hated it!

you'll have to email graco to see which covers are available and they'll send you a list. there is a nice black and white one, a brown and green one, and one other I think (I just emailed them last month when I was looking).
