Question monterey clicking

I just purchased a diono monterey yesterday. Installed in a 2000 sienna with out latch. Car seat clicks, like it is coming unattached from base, when my DD(7) wiggles herself in. Has anyone else experienced this?
(First time, hope I am doing this right.)

The back may not be fully on. I have to get the back upright then give it a little shove forward to get it to snap into place. If that isn't the case its possible something isn't right with how its fitting together. You can call diono and see what they say about it.

Could there be something hard underneath the plastic of the base that when she puts her weight into the seat, it compresses and hits whatever is stuck underneath? Or could something be stuck underneath the cover?
