Looking for new seat or booster Radian RXT/Frontier 85 SICT

My 14 mo old (currently in Chicco Keyfit 30) will very shortly require the use of the Radian XTSL that my 3 year old occupies. I'm trying to decide what is the best next seat for my 3 year old. I am comparing the Radian RXT & Frontier 85 SICT. We drive a 2012 Honda Odyssey, so size isn't really an issue.

My 3 year old is 38 lbs. and 38" so he still has some to go rear-facing in a Radian, but the harness/booster height issue with the Radian RXT is a concern. Thoughts?

I would not buy a radian with the expectation it will be used as a booster. It has a 50lb min and is outgrown at the same time or shortly after the harness.

Do you want to rf longer, then get a radian and plan on buying a booster when the time comes.

If you want this to be the last seat you buy him than get a frontier. I wouldn't get the sict. I would get the regular one.
