Question Latching boosters

If the 3rd row of a vehicle has 1 center latch, can I latch 1 side each of 2 backless boosters to it? The 3rd row center would be empty.

I would think at least they aren't flying around loose.

Thanks,
Mamabear to 3 and gestater to 1

I wouldn't because it could cause them to do something unpredictable in a crash if occupied.

:yeahthat:

I could see being attached only on one side to cause some unwanted rotation during a crash. Who knows what could potentially happen, not something I'd want to find out with my own kids in the seats.
