latch weight limit?

How do I find out what the weight limit is to use latch? I just bought a 2012 Chevy Traverse and need to install my son's Britax Frontier. He weighs 42 lbs. What weight can I use the latch up until?

It should be in the manual for your car. Britax defers to the car manufacture, if none is stated assume 40 lbs. However gm has a 48lb latch limit.
