Is this OK? Bent piece on backrest Parkway SG

I recently bought a Parkway SG. I thought I had the back all the way in the guide of the booster when putting the backrest on. I guess it was not all the way in because when I tilted it into place one of the plastic guide pieces bent.

If you can see it in the picture...the first on the left, the straight gray piece has white showing from where it snapped or bent.

Is it still safe to use? I haven't even placed it in the car yet!

Mine did that too. It "snaps" into place and the snapping is those going past something when you are bringing it up. I think its fine. I'm not a tech though.
