Question Is material different for different Diono Radian models?

Hi,

I just received a new Diono Radian R100 today. While I think the carseat is exactly what we need, I have to admit, I do not like the material. It feels like a weird kind of suede and my hands feel almost sticky after touching it and Im highly considering returning it.

I know the RXT fabric is better because Ive seen that model in stores. But can anyone tell me if the R120 fabric is better than the R100 fabric? None of our stores around here are carrying the R120.

The R120 is the only Diono seat I've seen in person so far, the one I saw was red and the fabric was kinda nylon-y, reminded me of like a windbreaker? I didn't like it.

The Shadow fabric is the same as the Britax Onyx covers, if you've ever seen those.
