I installed our 2 MyRides in my "new" mini van... I got a nice tight install but I left one of the captins chairs reclined a bit because my DD1 has pretty long legs for RF. I was wondering if the seat back has to be all the way up or If it's allright to recline the back as long as I get a tight install?

Sorry for the crappy night time pics.
Oh also, there's no harm in letting a 5.1 yr old ride RF for fun, aslong as she fits in the seat, is there?

Hi. Check your owner's manual to see for sure if there's a place where the vehicle seat needs to be reclined to. It doesn't look overly reclined to me, but I can't be sure. What make/model/year is the van?

Your 5 yr old can rf as long as she still fits in the seat :).

It's a 2006 Buick Terraza. I'll look thru the manual tomorrow. DD1(5yr old) is tiny...DD2(22 mos) should catch up to sister at 3yrs old.

The manual talks a little about reclining the seat for FF in the front passenger seat if the airbag light goes on. but that's all the info I could find. oh and that you can't have the seat fully reclined while the car is in motion, I'm assuming from the picture they are refurring to adults useing a seatbelt
