Is it ok to recline seat for more ERF legroom

I have a Sienna minivan and car seat is installed on a captains chair behind driver. Is it ok to recline the seat back of the captains chair to create more leg room for ERF kid? There is a significant difference in leg room when seat back in front is reclined fully, but I just want to make sure it is safe to do so. Thanks

The short answer is, it depends. :) The longer answer is... I think that Toyota has a specific number of "clicks" that the vehicle seatback is permitted to be reclined when a child seat is installed there. Check your vehicle manual (if you have one). You could also try emailing or calling Toyota if you don't have a manual or you can't find the info. I think that reclining it "fully" is not permitted, but there is a chance that you can recline it more than you currently have it.
