so i got the true fit c680 for my baby. I wanted to see how long it would fit so i put my 5.5 year old in. Well it fits him great and he still has about 1/2 inch of harness left. well i put the headrest in and it clicked in. Now i cant figure out how to get it out... so is there a trick that i am jsut not seeing?

If you look on the back right side of the seat (baby's right as if in the seat), there is a little yellow lever. Pull it toward you & the headrest will slide up.

Re: how to remove a true fit headrest/got a great install

thank you so much.... just got the headrest off and the seat installed in my trail blazer and was able to get a tight install on that with a sea tbelt install next to my frontier 85 with a short belt path in the middle... both have independent installs.... who hoo.. didn't know if i would be able to do it but it worked.

i posted pictures of my baby and my 5.5 year old in the seat uninstalled if anyone is intrested and i can retake pictures of my kids in the seats installed but it will have to be tomarrow as my baby is already in bed and asleep
