I have a 21 month old in a Foonf, RF, outbound on passenger-side of my 07 Jeep Liberty. That seat can also fit in the middle, but not on driver's side because my husband is tall and this is our only vehicle (he must be able to drive).
I'm expecting my second child in late December, and we have a Maxi Cosi Mico for him/her. With my first son, we could only get it to fit in the middle, as well (the seat positioned between the two front seats, to allow for front driver and passenger leg room). We just tried it out, and the Mico will not fit next to the Foonf. It's too wide.
We had thought that we could get a second Foonf and install RF in the middle for the the baby, with the new infant insert. But it doesn't seem like that's going to be out in time for us.
So... does this mean we have to get a new vehicle? Is there something I haven't thought of? I'm getting pretty stressed out about it.
