Question Frontier XT booster issue

Just today I installed my Frontier in booster mode in my car. The problem I am having is that the shoulder belt is not retracting on its own to sit against my child. Is there any way to prevent this?
The headrest is nowhere near its highest position.

Please and thank you

I drive a 2006 Suzuki Aerio.

I could put him back in the HBTB but I don't really want to.
I LOVE the Frontier. But maybe as a booster it's just not going to work.

I had this issue with FR in booster mode. Hated it in booster mode. Bought an Oobr because I hated it. That was in a '10 RAM Crew
