Frontier 85 vs recaro performance booster?

Which one would you prefer as a booster if money was no issue? I've got the frontier 85 right now being used as a harnessed seat for a six yr old. I also have a turbo surround as a back up. I plan on harnessing My son for awhile longer, but I am thinking ahead. Obviously the turbo will be outgrown pretty quick compared to others. Plus I do like having that one as my back up. I could turn the frontier into a booster when it's time but I've been eying the new recaro boosters since they came out. Which one fits kids better?

We never used our Frontier 85 as a booster but we are using the original (FR80) as a booster. And we have the Performance booster as well.

Usually DD uses the FR & DS the Recaro but I tried DS in the Frontier recently and I was surprised how well it fit him as a booster (he's 45lb & 46"). Both are wide and are going to be difficult to buckle (that will probably be more vehicle dependent also, the vehicle our FR is in has longer floppy buckle stalks and my 8yo has trouble with it, the Recaro vehicle has short, fixed and DS is starting to get the hang of it at 6.5yo).

One thing to note is that neither turn into a NBB, you could also look at the Britax Parkway for that option.

I liked the Frontier85 in booster mode with my DD but it did not like DH's car :) The seatbelt would get hung up in the belt guide. It was fine in my car - but DH's car is our family vehicle.

So I ended up buying her a Parkway and moving DS to it earlier as a harnessed seat than I'd originally planned v. using a Radian FF for awhile once he turned 4.

Haven't tried the Recaro but have been happy with the Parkway.
