Question Extra set of carseats

Hi, I am looking for advice on a pair of extra carseats for our 2 year old twins. I of course don't want to jeopardize safety but also don't want to break the bank as they will not be used very often. I would like them to have a front facing weight limit over 40 lbs though. Thanks for any advice, it's greatly appreciated as these are our first kids and every 'next step' is new to us. Thanks again :)

Are they currently rear or forward facing? What are their weights and torso height measured from floor to shoulder?

Hi, they are currently forward facing. My daughter is 25 lbs and my son is about 27-28 lbs. I am not exactly sure of their height, ill measure when they wake up from their naps. Thanks for the help :)

Welcome to cs.o! Most of us on this bosrd would rear face kids your size in the main vehicle at least. It does continue to be much much safer even after thr second birthday. I think the evenflo sureride would be a good long lasting back up seat for your kids.

:yeahthat: What seats do they have now? Maybe you could buy the Evenflo Sureride to use as their primary seats and move their current seats to spares if they are FF only.
