We purchased the Evenflo Tribute as an extra seat and I was curious if it HAS to be installed fully reclined (as per the "arrow") for an older (almost 11 months) baby? It fits in the 2012 Dodge Journey (with slanted seats) really well, but when you recline it completely, it makes the seat in front of it unusable. Help please!?

Unfortunately, yes, according to the manual it must be installed with the recline line level to the ground so about 45 degrees. I hate that about it.

How far back do you need the front seat? and do you have the middle row of the journey pushed back as far as it can go?
We have a 2009 journey and we use a tribute as our spare so its been installed a few times, and we've always had lots of room left in the front with it set with the line level to the ground. The seat wont go all the way back but its only maybe 1-2 clicks forward.
