Question Convertible car seat

Hi all,
My 8 months old is outgrown from her carrier she is tall for her age. So I am looking for a convertible car seat in a reasonable price, that can fit in the center seat of 2011 toyota camry xle. I bought safety 1st alpha omega elite but it did not fit nicely and was not safe at all. Thank you so much for your help!

Hi. How much does your little one weigh, and what height, and shirt size?

There are a lot of seats that can work well, one of the ones I like for the center of small vehicles is the Graco MySize70/Size4Me70/Headwise70/Fit4Me70 (same seat, different retailer) they rear-face to 40lbs, with no standing height limit, (the seat rear-faces to 40lbs, and whenever her head is within an inch and a half from the red handle with headrest fully extended). This seat is known for not taking up a whole lot of front to back space, and is narrow enough to nestle between the front seats when rear facing.
