Question Compatible booster for Grand Caravan and skinny kid

I posted recently in the special needs forum about possibly moving DD to a high back booster. She's in a captains chair in my '09 Grand Caravan with stow and go. From browsing the forums, it seems that there may be some compatibility issues with boosters in this vehicle. I know the 3rd row is awful for boosters, but what about the captains chairs? DD is 7yo (well, she will be on Tuesday), 45-46" and 38lbs. Very twiggy with long legs. For reference, she can wear 3T capris as shorts but needs 7 slim for pants length.

Anyway, I had planned to try out the Graco Affix and possibly the new Parkway SGL model if it comes out soon (yes, I am aware of the 40lb limit - with shoes and clothing she's likely 40lbs.)

Any advice on what does or does not work well with the belt geometry? Thanks.

Bumping. DD is begging for a booster. We had a talk today at Target about the huge responsibility that comes with boosters. We had walked by the car seat aisle and said she really, really wants to switch to a booster. I sat her in the regular highback TB and the TB with Safety Surround. Of course I couldn't check seatbelt fit but the seat itself looked like a very nice fit for her.

I tried searching the forums for info about any issues with the Grand Caravan captains chairs and/or seatbelt geometry and the TB, because I know there have been some booster compatibility concerns but didn't find anything. I'm considering getting a Graco Affix to start with. If she is successful in the booster I would try the new model of the Parkway SGL when it comes out and if that fits both her and the vehicle, I'd get that and put the Affix in the secondary vehicle. Any thoughts? If not, I will try to find time to go to BRU to try it out.

I have had a Monterey, a Turbo w/SS and various no backs in the captains chairs of my '12 Town and country with no problem at all.
