Question Combination seat for less than $200?

We are considering buying a combination seat for MIL's car. DD will be 5 in Feb, currently 44.5" total height. Last weight recorded was 44# in August (will weigh tomorrow & update). She is more leg than torso, but I do not know shoulder height.

Are there any Canadian FF/booster combination seats with long harness life for less than $200? This seat will be used at most once a week, mostly in the summer. I personally don't mind moving the Radian, rather than spending even $100, but DH looking for a gift for his mom.

I would opt for the Evenflo Titan 65 aka SureRide. It's on rollback for $79 at Walmart where it's known as the Titan 65, and about $140 elsewhere where it's called the SureRide.

It does not convert to a booster, but it's extremely long lasting by height. Use it as long as you need to and then shop for a dedicated booster when the time comes. For example Graco Turbos are often on for $40-50 somewhere and are well-fitting, easy to use and move, and readily available. Its biggest shortfall is that the harness is closer together at the neck than some like, and does not have harness pads (although Evenflo might be approving them for use on their seats, I did hear that rumour).

Another option is an Evenflo Maestro that is $80 right now at Walmart, but the booster function isn't nearly as long-lasting and the upper weight limit is 50lbs vs the 65lbs of the Titan.

If you want to go pricier then you can usually find a Nautilus somewhere for around $200, or consider the Evenflo SecureKid 300 at $150. I have no personal experience with what booster fit is like in this one.
