Carseats in a Cadillac cts

Hi. I have a question regarding what Carseats can fit in my backseat. I have a four door sedan Cadillac cts. As of now, I have a 8 year old and 5 year old in boosters in the back seat. My husband and I are in the process of adopting a 3 year old (small for her age if that matters). We are upside down in the car and want to try to avoid trading it. Is there any way to make this work with all three kids in the back seat? Thank you.

Hi and welcome! :) Congratulations! I bet the posters here can come up with some good recommendations for you! One narrow combination seat that you may want to keep in mind is the Evenflo Maestro. It harnesses to 50 pounds and has 18 inch top harness slots. It won't last long in booster mode once the harness is outgrown, but it's narrow and can often be found for less than its $80 regular price. Evenflo also has the SecureKid 300 and 400, which are similar to the Maestro but have 65 pound harness weight limits and are adjustable in booster mode. There are other seats like the Graco My Ride (it's a convertible seat, so it is a harnessed seat for rear-facing and forward-facing without a booster mode) that sit up high on a base, so it may fit nicely next to boosters and leave you room to buckle the boosters. There's also the Harmony Defender at Walmart. I think it runs around $100. It's a combination seat (harness to booster) like the Maestro that is fairly narrow. Graco and Evenflo have some potential issues with crotch buckles sticking, so I wanted to mention that as something to keep in the back of your mind while you are researching seats. :)

What boosters are your 8 and 5 year olds in? Sometimes knowing the seats you are working with now might allow the posters here to tell you which seats puzzle well with them. :)

I would rearface a small 3 year old. If you know her height, it would help. I don't know your car, but I'd try a Radian since it lasts a long time rearfacing and is narrow for fitting 3 kids. The MyRide mentioned might fit well too but its not as tall depending on her size.
