My almost 8yo DS is using this seat in my car with the back still on. He has plenty of room still in it and I would like to continue using the back, but the seat belt will not stay in the positioner ("red thing" as we call it)!! When he gets in, I put it in, but then at some point shortly thereafter, it's out and then the belt doesn't lay properly across his shoulder.
I'm about to just take the back off (I'm pretty sure the belt will be OK - I will check of course) but it is annoying to me that I have to do this. Does anyone else have this issue? I wonder if it is something to do with my car? I have a 2012 Honda CR-V. I prefer not to buy another seat.
