B Safe strap issues-tightening and not tightening

I am the only owner of my B Safe. I tried calling customer service about the issue I am having and they were only so helpful. My straps have this issue where they get very difficult to tighten or they are tight and nearly impossible to tighten. This has been going on about 3 months. The straps have never been washed and the baby has never eaten in it. I've checked them, they aren't twisted or threaded wrong, the cover is on correct. A CPST checked and I'm doing everything right. CS said babies cannot be over 11 inches seated height which I cannot find anywhere in the manual. She doesn't meet that yet and is not too tall or heavy. Anyone else have this issue? I would just get a new seat but I am planning on getting pregnant soon and would like to use this seat for the next baby, plus I would like to use it a couple more months.

I almost have the same issue! I think i have found the problem. Actually, the straps on my seat don't always lay flat in the path and tend to twist a bit. When it happens, it's hard to tighten or release. They are so sleek and the holes on the headrest (cushion) are almost the same lenght as the straps. I think this is where they get stucked. Hope that it makes sens, english is my second language and this was hard to explain lol!
