Question Audi q7 2008

We just bought the 2008 audi q 7. It did not come with the owners manual but I have ordered one. I'd like to put one car seat in the middle seat of the middle row. It appears that the out board seats have the latch system. My question is can I use one latch from each of the outboard seats to secure a car seat in the center or do I need to use the center belt?

I would use the seatbelt. If your car seat manual allows the borrowing of anchors (often called non-standard LATCH spacing), I would wait until you get the vehicle manual to see if that allows it. Or someone here might have quick answers for you if you let us know what car seat you have! You would also need to use the seatbelt if you have any seats in an outboard position using the lower anchors. Two seats cannot be attached to the same anchor.

Hi, congrats on the new to you wheels! You need to use the seatbelt to install any carseat in the center rear in the vehicle because Audi doesn't allow "borrowing" of an innermost lower LATCH anchor from each side to install in the center.

Thanks for the quick responses. Seatbelt it is for middle row middle seat. We will be using britax chaperone for new baby in August.
