AOE 80% on seat?

Does the AOE follow the "80% of the base on the vehicle seat" rule? It is one of the older non-expired models, somewhere around 5 years old. Owner has lost the manual.

As far as I know, yes it does. With it being that old the base is likely removable as well, often making it an easier installation. Do you know how to remove the base?

Thanks, I do not know how to remove the base, but the manual is available online and will look it up. I quickly read through to see if it answered the 80% rule but didn't see it, and I knew that someone here with more experience would know the answer.

Go to the booster section for the instructions, as that era of seat had to have the base off to be used as a booster. It's pretty easy but a flat head screwdriver does make it quicker if the bar is stiff.
