I was in a car-accident and have discontinued use of the car seats in the car.

Graco Turbo Booster High back (for a 9.1 year old). 52 lbs.

Safety 1st Complete Air 65, (3.11 year old) FF. 31 lbs. Rouglhy 19-20 inches seated from floor/butt to top of head. (I dislike this car-seat very much).

I am pregnant with my third child, and considering the best buys for car-seats.

-I had extra car-seats so my daughter is in a Graco Natulis (very good fit for her), and my Son is in a graco turbo booster no back.

I drive a 2002 Mazda Mpv (mini van).

I am pretty sad that no one has replied to help me. I really liked this board, but now I am not so sure.

I'd probably stick with what you're using. Do you not like the LB Turbo and Nautilus? If you don't, what are you looking for in a car seat?

I'm sorry. The board has been glitchy lately and I've sometimes found it difficult to reply to anyone (my posts get eaten).

What is it about the Complete Air that you dislike?

Does your 9yo fit well in the backless booster? Does s/he have adequate vehicle support (headrests or high seat backs coming at least to the tops of the ears)? I'm generally fine with 9yos, even small ones, in backless boosters as long as they are being used properly.

Since you had extra seats, is there an actual need to replace the crashed seats or would the insurance company check be better used elsewhere?

If you still want to have extra seats around, how about another Nautilus? And another HB Turbo. Other harnessed seats to look at: Evenflo SecureKid 400/300. Graco Size 4 Me 70 (which could be passed to the baby once the infant seat is outgrown).

I am personally loving my daughter's Radian (she is 3 yrs, 7 months) - though I don't know if I would have bought her one at this age. It puzzles well with all sorts of seats :) I would not suggest a GN for your 3 year old since it is a very wide seat, but if width is not an issue, my daughter (now 5.5) has done great with that seat and was able to buckle herself and everything. She also loved the cupholders.....

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

That said, I understand the need to try something new if you want to. So, for fun's sake, get a Recaro ProSport for the 3 year old. I'm not booster savvy, since we're not there yet. Maybe a Clek?
