Question A silly question!

It will be dangerous/safe to remove the rear seat back so my DS can have more leg room RF?

I think i know the awnser but i need to ask.

I'm not a tech, but my initial thought is that no that isn't safe. I can't imagine being able to get a good install, let alone where the seat would rebound in a crash. He'd probably go flying. Not to mention most cars require the seat back to be fully upright when installing a carseat.

No, not safe at all. And there's no such thing as a dumb question. I don't even think it's possible to do. Everything's all connected in some way, kwim? And child seats require contact with the vehicle seat back, even when RF.

I wanted to add that my DH was a car interior installer. He agrees it's not possible to take it off to allow a passenger back there. The seatbelts may not hold your child's seat, since there is no seat back to anchor it. Does that make sense? I'm trying to explain in normal language, not DH's engineering talk, lol! He should just type this!
