Can someone look up the part # for me for the tether anchor retrofit into a 98 Ford Expedition? I'm having a devil of a time with our Ford dealer and communication with Ford. Thanks in advance!!! :D

You probably already have the Ford program number for free tether anchor retrofits in pre-factory equipped Ford models. Just in case and/or for any lurkers who might be in similar circumstances with a Ford vehicle, it's Ford Program R7C. Good luck convincing the dealership to honor the retrofit policy.

Jean I *did* have that # written down from when you'd posted it another time. When I first called they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about and couldn't find that program # in their computer anywhere. So I called Ford directly. She put me on hold several times, then patched herself into the dealership, and came back and told me the part was ordered and they'd call me when it came in. They never called. When I called the dealership back they had no recollection of speaking to the dealership. (I do know that she called the right one, she gave me the name of the person she spoke to who IS the service manager of the dealership we use.)

Soooo...they told me to try and get a part # and call back.

Do you by any chance have a copy of the retrofit policy?

Ugh, how aggravating that you're in the position as customer and doing the legwork about Ford's own part numbers and retrofit program information. :( I'm attaching a .pdf copy of Ford's Program R7C document for you.

Thanks...but I learned a long time ago...if you want something done, and done right, ya do it yourself...I'm used to it.

And thank you for the pdf. I will add it to my work file as well as my personal CPST file for future reference.

And I'll keep you posted on my success!
