Hello! My sister is visiting me from out of the country next week and I am trying to configure three car seats in the backseat of my 2008 RDX. I hope it works because otherwise we will be taking two cars everywhere!
Here are my carseats:
-Britax ClickTight Advocate (aka Big Bertha)
-Britax ClickTight Marathon
-Diono Rainier (I also have the Diono angle adjuster)
Two of the kids are non-negotiable RF (9 months and 17 months).
The third child I would love to keep RF if the car seat fits. He is 4 years 6 months, 35 lbs, and 40 inches. His seated shoulder height is 15 inches. According to the manuals for all three seats, he can sit RF in any of them.
I have put all three car seats in the car and technically they all fit. Marathon on driver side, Rainier in the center, and Boulevard on the passenger. They touch each other, but they do not push each other out of the way. However, I am SO paranoid about installing a car seat incorrectly! I can turn my nephew around FF if I need to, or if you think it is better to keep him RF and you also don't think that the car seats fit well we will just have to take two cars everywhere. Because my sister is here for such a short time it just does not make sense to buy new car seats just for this trip.
Thank you so much for looking at my question! I hope it does not stump you.
