So, here's the total scoop
-twin girls, age 5.5, each 46" tall 62lbs and 50lbs (one very thin with very long legs, the other very tall torso and she has a very solid bottom and legs (size 8-10 pants!)
-boy almost 3yo (feb), 35lbs, 37.5" tall...lanky with long torso and legs
-Chevy tahoe, 3 across, prefer not to use the 3rd row, but I guess it's a possibility?
-Currently 2 Diono Radians, and a Graco myride FF (son still has some room before his shoulders are above the straps, and he could potentially be swapped to one of the radians with the harness if it would help with room)
-Looking for 2 HBB for the gals...didn't really want to spend another $200, but we'll do what's necessary...
The more I look at the radians as boosters, the more I realize their fit is terrible!!

Mine loved that! As for slimmer HBBS that aren't too slim inside, I'd try the PKWY. Or maybe the Gracos (less money), but they might be too slim inside and they're shorter, so it also depends how long you want to use the back.
