Pertinent info:
5yo (FF)
3.5yo (FF)
16mo (RF)
Seats we have available now:
2- Evenflo Triumph Advance LX
1- Diono Radian RXT
1- Graco bucket (16 mo is finally outgrowing)
The Triumph Advance seats are very wide. They worked well when we had two kids but right now we have one in the Magnum and one in our second car. We need at least two new seats as the bucket seat is finally being outgrown (youngest is FTT and starting to gain weight and height now).
We need two new seats as there are times one car needs to take the two oldest to school and I pick them up but we cannot swap seats at preschool. I'm thinking it might be best to put the two Triumph Advance seats in the secondary car (one FF, one RF) and get two new seats to puzzle with the Radian RXT. If we take the Triumph Advance seats out (wide!), it seems like it might give more room.
I like the no-thread harnesses in the Triumph Advance seats and would prefer something that can easily adjust to different heights as we sometimes have to make adjustments to who is sitting next to whom. Also, the 5yo is not ready for a HBB yet, but we'd be open to a seat that would eventually convert to one. Less expensive is a plus, but we want something that will work and be comfortable. Foonfs are out of our price range though!
