Any idea when the new Foonf will be out? I hear something about crotch strap changes too..?

Production will be changing to the 2014 models very soon. The seat itself will functionally be the same and the fit-to-vehicle will be identical.
The 2014 models will have updated instruction manuals, a crotch buckle that can have the length adjusted, and the anti-rebound bar will be attached slightly differently. The ARB change is an ease-of-use change and won't affect the performance of the seat. The adjustable length crotch buckle will be available for purchase for a minimal charge so that is something available for older seats if a family needs it.
There are some prints that will be available only on 2014 models, but otherwise it will be a case of stock rotation as to whether a family gets a 2013 or 2014 seat.

Yes it is. Feel free to contact customer service if you're wanting to do that soon and we can give you instructions on how to do install using both.
